David Martin is highly regarded for his knowledge of all matters touching on the employer/employee relationship and his professional and personal integrity.  In addition to defending clients in all types of employment-related matters, David has extensive experience in drafting employer-specific documentation such as handbooks, applications, and the like, as well as drafting and defending affirmative action plans.  David also has years of experience in performing Occupational Safety and Health Administration and non-Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety audits, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program, Department of Justice, and Title IX (Office for Civil Rights) compliance and safety audits.  In addition, he routinely conducts on-site and off-site management and personnel training in employment-related matters.

David is a Deacon at Pulaski Heights Baptist Church, where he has been a member since 1997.  During that time, he has served two terms as Chair of the Finance Committee and Personnel Committee, respectively, and has served on the Committee on Committees.
During his twenty-one year practice of labor relations, Mr. Martin has handled every aspect of employment law, dealt with all of the related federal agencies, and tried numerous lawsuits before state and federal judges and juries.

Experience

Mr. Martin’s practice involves exclusively Management Labor and Employment matters, such as Title VII, Sections 1981 and 1983, Fair Labor Standards Act, Surface Transportation Assistance Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the American With Disabilities Act, the Arkansas Civil Rights Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.  David has an AV rating with Martindale Hubbell and has been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America (2008-2013 editions) in Employment Law Management, Labor Law Management, and Litigation Labor and Employment.  Since 2005, Mr. Martin has been listed in Chambers USA Leading Lawyers: Defendant’s Employment Lawyer in Arkansas.  David and his partner at Rose Law Firm, Tim Boe, comprise two of the ten attorneys listed in Band 1 in Chambers.  David is also listed as a Top Attorney by HR Professional Magazine and Memphis Magazine.
