Steve Joiner was elected to the Board of Directors of the State Capital Group for a two-year term. Rose Law Firm is a founding member and the Arkansas representative in the State Capital Group. Two Rose Law Firm attorneys recently received awards from the Arkansas Bar Association. Phillip Carroll received the Arkansas Bar Association Presidential Award for his over 40 years of service to the Uniform Laws Committee. The Uniform Laws Committee acts as a liaison between the Arkansas Bar Association, the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, and the Arkansas Uniform Laws Commission by reviewing uniform legislation. Brian Rosenthal received a Golden Gavel Award from President Rosalind M. Mouser for his service as Chair of the Membership Development Committee. BEST OF CLE

Dan Young was included in the 2009 Best of CLE seminar sponsored by the Arkansas Bar Association. Dan's presentation was titled Planning and Administration of Small Estate and Probate Basics. Dan presented the CLE at the 2009 Mid-Year meeting of the Arkansas Bar Association and the evaluation score given to the presentation by the attendees was among the highest received by any presenters during the 2008-2009 Bar Year.
