JOINER APPOINTED TO BANKRUPTCY BAR COMMITTEE 4/9/2008 Steve Joiner has been appointed to the Bankruptcy Bar Advisory Committee for the Eastern District of Arkansas. The Committee focuses on areas of common concern for bankruptcy practitioners, ways for the Bankruptcy Clerk's office to improve operations and implementing changes in the Bankruptcy Court's and Clerk's office procedures. The Committee is comprised of practicing debtor and creditor bankruptcy attorneys as well as the Assistant United States Trustee, a Standing Chapter 13 Trustee, a Standing Chapter 7 Trustee and the Clerk of Court. Committee membership is organized by the Bankruptcy Clerk, based on a selection process with the Bankruptcy Judges. The six-member task force will bring fresh eyes to campus safety issues.
