Rose Law Firm is very pleased to announce that Jim Fowler is returning to the firm to lead the Public Finance practice. Jim began his legal career as a municipal securities lawyer at Rose Law Firm in 1978. He left the firm to become Senior Vice President and General Counsel at a Little Rock investment banking firm. Most recently he was a Managing Director in the public finance department of a national investment banking firm’s Little Rock office. Rose Law Firm’s Managing Partner Steve Joiner said, “Gaining a lawyer with Jim’s expertise and reputation is very exciting for our firm and our municipal finance clients. He has experience in municipal securities transactions including governmental obligations, private bonds and Section 501(c)(3) financings. We look forward to serving our existing clients and expanding to serve new clients with Jim’s arrival.”
Jim has been registered as a general securities representative, a municipal advisor and a municipal securities principal/supervisor. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and has been involved with bond issuers in the State of Arkansas and throughout the country.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hendrix College, a law degree from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Laws degree from Southern Methodist University. He serves on the Executive Board of the Quapaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
