Brian Rosenthal, a member of Rose Law Firm, is the new President-Elect Designee of the Arkansas Bar Association. He will serve a one-year term as President-Elect beginning in June 2018 before assuming the office of President at the Association’s 2019 Annual Meeting. Brian has served as chair of the Association’s Board of Governors, the Long Range Planning Committee, the Editorial Board for Handbooks, Arkansas Professional Practicum, Membership Development Committee and as chair of the 2006 Annual Meeting. He is currently Co-Chair of the Member Benefits Committee (along with his partner David Mitchell) and is serving on the 20/20 Commission. The Association has honored Brian with four Golden Gavel Awards, a Presidential Award of Excellence and the Charles L. Carpenter Award. Brian is also a Fellow of the Arkansas Bar Foundation. Brian serves as counsel in commercial transactions, refinancings, real estate and environmental matters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (accounting) from the University of Arkansas and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri.
