LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (January 4, 2022) – Rose Law Firm, a full-service business law firm located in Little Rock and Rogers, Arkansas, will partner with Little Rock attorney Chad Causey and former state representative Joe Jett on a new business strategy and corporate development firm, Rose Group Advisors.
Causey will serve as Principal of Rose Group Advisors, and Jett will serve as Director of Business Strategies and Corporate Development. Rose Group Advisors will assist existing and new clients with navigating the impact of policies, laws and regulations on businesses in Arkansas and Washington, D.C.
Causey has more than 20 years of experience working on federal and state issues. After ten years working for the U.S. Congress on two farm bills and numerous appropriations measures, he has spent the last 12 years in private practice working on federal and state regulatory issues.
Causey is the owner of Causey Law Firm and serves as the Executive Director of the Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance, a trade association with more than 50 aerospace, aviation, and defense members dedicated to growing aerospace and defense business opportunities in Arkansas. Causey will continue his role with AADA and join Rose Law Firm as a member.
“I’m excited about this great opportunity to partner with the Rose Firm in launching Rose Group Advisors,” said Causey. “The intersection of business and government can be difficult to navigate, and this new venture will help our clients capitalize on the economic trends that make Arkansas the place to do business.”
Jett is a former member of the Arkansas Aeronautics Commission and a lifelong pilot with an airline transport pilot license. Jett understands the complex relationship between state and federal regulation on operating, maintaining, and owning aircraft in Arkansas. After owning and operating a farming and trucking business for over 35 years, Jett took that experience to the State Capitol, where he worked on numerous agricultural issues. He spent eight years as the Revenue and Tax Committee Chairman in the Arkansas House of Representatives, making him a key asset in helping clients understand how the Arkansas tax code impacts business. In addition to his role with Rose Group Advisors, Jett will also serve as Senior Policy Advisor to the AADA.
The pair bring years of combined experience on complex issues ranging from agriculture to aerospace. “Both Joe and Chad bring a unique blend of knowledge and experience that I know will be valuable to Rose Group Advisors,” said David Mitchell, Managing Member of Rose Law Firm. “We are extremely excited to partner with Chad and Joe in this new venture that we believe will provide tremendous value to our clients.”
Other members of Rose Law Firm who will be involved with Rose Group Advisors include Russell Bailey, Michael Goswami, Steve Joiner, and Paul Parnell.
