Rose Law Firm, a full service business law firm with locations in Little Rock and Fayetteville, named Michael K. Goswami as a member of the law firm effective today. The firm also announced the additions of Nancy Smith, Ryan Smith and Jessica Witherspoon as associates.
Goswami is as a member of the firm’s business section in Little Rock and focuses his practice on producing creative and effective solutions for his clients. His practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, real estate, corporate governance and complex regulatory and administrative matters. Prior to joining the firm, Goswami served on the University of Arkansas Academic Integrity Board while pursuing his Master of Business Administration, served as an extern for the Honorable Ben T. Barry in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and for Congressman Steve Womack, and served as an intern in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Gang Task Force Unit.
N. Smith is as an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group in Little Rock. She focuses on general litigation with an emphasis on labor and employment law. Prior to joining Rose Law Firm, Nancy served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Courtney Hudson at the Arkansas Supreme Court and as a legislative extern for Senator John Boozman in Washington, D.C.
R. Smith focuses his practice on business litigation at the firm’s Fayetteville office. He previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable P.K. Holmes, III, of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas. During law school, R. Smith served as an Articles Editor on the Arkansas Law Review and Chair of the Honor Council.
Witherspoon focuses her practice on various transactional matters in the firm’s business section in Little Rock. Her experience includes representing companies in a variety of matters involving large transactions and employee benefit plans, as well as drafting contracts and other commercial documents. She also has experience assisting clients with estate planning and federal tax issues. Witherspoon obtained a Tax LL.M. from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law in May 2020.
