Rose Law Firm is pleased to announce Michael D. McGill, Ross E. Simpson, and Nancy A. Smith as the Firm's newest members.
Michael has an established practice focusing on estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, business formation, and nonprofit organizations.
He is a graduate of New York University, where he earned an LL.M. in Taxation, and is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he earned his J.D.
Michael was named to the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, is a graduate of Class III of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Heart of America Fellows Institute, and is currently participating in Leadership Benton County.
Ross has a robust labor and employment practice that focuses primarily on management-side labor and employment law, civil litigation, and commercial litigation.
He received his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, graduating with honors and serving as the Executive Editor of the Arkansas Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, Ross served for over four years as a Judicial Term Clerk to the Honorable Susan O. Hickey, District Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas. Ross was named to the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and is a Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XLI member.
Nancy focuses her practice on commercial contract and tort disputes, agency investigations, and antitrust violations.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Arkansas Law Review. Nancy was also named to the 2025 Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch List and the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. Nancy is a former member of the Rotaract Club of Little Rock and is a graduate of Leadership Benton County.

Both Michael and Nancy are located in the Northwest Arkansas office, and Ross is located in the Little Rock office.
